Following the Wetlands Mitigation Project presentation to City Council on November 26, Civic League members requested input from local stakeholder groups (for example Lynnhaven River NOW, Friends of Live Oaks & Chesapeake Bay Foundation) on the project.

We requested input from several organizations and other environmental agencies.

OPCL will add additional information as it becomes available. We encourage our neighbors to take the time to review the information to help understand the proposal. The project will be voted on at the January 7, 2025 City Council meeting. Here is information on how to sign up to speak at that meeting either in support or to express concerns about the project.
