Dune Signs are Up!

The city has posted signs on the dunes asking the public to stay off the dunes.

Sec. 6-14. – Disturbing or removing structures, grass, etc., placed to catch sand for rebuilding dunes. It shall be unlawful and a Class 1 misdemeanor for any person to disturb or remove any structure erected or maintained or any grass, vines, shrubbery or brush located within two hundred (200) feet of the shoreline of the city for the purpose of catching sand for rebuilding sand dunes.
