Rick Mercadante: OP Neighbors, Our General membership meeting was an exercise in patience and stamina. I want to thank all of you who stuck it out until the end. We had lots to talk about, and I think we had some great discussions about some pressing issues. Our membership voted to compromise with Don Julios, agreeing to let them stay open until 2:00 a.m Friday nights (Saturday morning), allowing live acoustic music, including Mariachi bands, letting them stay open late during Monday night football games and letting them install bar games. Mrs. Warfield, the owner, has agreed to the compromise, and Delegate Stolle has sent our agreement to the ABC board. Now we just have to wait from official word from the ABC board.
